The Clarendon Hotel is comprised of a row of eighteenth century residences, originally built for City merchants and seafarers. Today, it is what many people consider the finest Georgian hotel in south-east London.
The Meridian Restaurant, named after the Prime Meridian of the World is located at the Royal Observatory in nearby Greenwich Park. The main bar is named after navigational charts used by sailors to navigate the globe.
The Clarendon Hotel is situated at the top of beautiful Blackheath Village and has commanding views across the open grassland or heath to Greenwich Park.
By Road:From the South: On the M25 @ Junct 3 London bound, take the A2 to Blackheath. At the roundabout on Blakheath take third exit to Blackheath Village, the hotel is opposite the church. From the North: On the M25 @ Junct 4 Take the A11, then the A102By Public Transport:Blackheath Station - turn left 5 minutes walk through Blackheath Village.
