About

Gallions Reach Park is a landscaped park which is home to a range of wildlife habitats, including flower-rich grassland, scrub, planted woodland and a water-filled ditchbuilt aound a hill. There is also a very tall hill, which is actually a manmade structure. The hill is constructed of a mound, built from the rubble and soil excavated during construction of a nearby housing estate.

There's a spiral path leading round the mound all the way to the top where there's a paved plateau with brilliant 360 degree views for miles and miles around.
